Gosh, what a tricky situation. And who isn’t to say that you haven’t both been ruled by logic in where to place flap, and velcro, etc, so that in the end the design is so similar.

I want to comment on the grace with which you have handled this situation. Your explanation of the reason for removing the previous post was matter-of-fact and not defensive. You did not attack Dave, but admitted the similarity and proceded to revert to one of your previous designs.

I, personally, think Dave’s comments here were a bit defensive, he may have gotten some grief from your ‘supporters’, I couldn’t say.
