Here she is all blocked and very happy. I really love how she turned out.
In case you didn’t know, the theme of this year’s stole is Swan Lake and one end represents a wing which makes the stole asymmetrical and really quite different.

pattern: Mystery Stole #3 by Melanie at Pink Lemon Twist
yarn: JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 4/8 in white, less than 4 oz.
needles: size 4/3.5 mm
notes: I knit this according to Melanie’s directions and used white matte beads which don’t show up very well, but still add to the stole. I really enjoyed waiting for the clues to be published and not knowing what was coming. I’m definitely doing this again next year. Thanks, Melanie!!

Exquisite! You did a fantastic job. I love seeing it all blocked out and on a person’s shoulders. Definitely incentive for me to get past Clue #6 and onto #7 and then off the needles. Great job!

Absolutely stunning!! Great job.

I’d had doubts about the different ends but you know, that really is amazingly gorgeous. Better than I thought it’d be. And it looks so good in the yarn you chose!
August 19th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
It’s beautiful! I like the size of it. Time for Peacock Feathers now?
August 19th, 2007 at 8:40 pm
Wonderful!
I love the finished look of the stole. I´m knitting mine in black so it look a bit different. I think I will knitt one moore in a lighter cooler after seeing your white stole.

You wearing it is really quite lovely. I wasn’t so convinced seeing pictures of other stoles flat on a surface. But worn it is stunning especially the wing looks great!
August 19th, 2007 at 8:45 pm
It is beautiful!
August 19th, 2007 at 8:59 pm
Absolutely beautiful! I haven’t started and, like many, was unsure about the assymetrical effect. Seeing it “in person” makes all the difference. (knowing me, it’ll be 10 years before mine is finished!)
August 19th, 2007 at 9:03 pm
That turned out really pretty! The wing looks almost realistic. cool

Hi Kim, until yet I doesn´t know how to finish my own stole. I’d had doubts about the different ends. But after seeing this gorgeous stole I know I will finish mine in the same way.
Thanks so much Vera
PS: please excuse my funny English
