You are looking at some good old Olympic yarn and I’m ready to take a dive! This stuff is gorgeous. It’s 50 wool/50 camel and just so soft. Kathleen was here last week and bought some on sale, and dumb old me waited a week before I realized I needed some of this stuff too. I went yesterday and bought the last 3 balls in wine red. Yes, if you hadn’t noticed already, I’m in my red phase and enjoying every minute of it. I’m hoping to make a Moebius shawl with this, but I’m still not too sure what it’s going to look like. Now I’ve got my yarn and needles, I just have to get that uniform done in time or they won’t let me into the opening ceremony parade.
I’ve also been working on stitch markers for my shop and I’ve added some pictures, if you’re interesting in seeing what I have to offer. There are more to come, I just haven’t had time to post them all. Please, let me know what you think.

That red yarn looks gorgeous- you’d better get cracking on that uniform!
I’m in a very red phase, too these days. I have yet to try that Moebius technique, but I’d like to soon. You keep cranking out all these Moebius patterns and tempting me! I’m going to make it a point to invite myself to your home someday so I can try some of that homemade pasta…my stomach’s rumbling already.

I just realised – we’re going to be on different Olympic teams. You’re on the US team, and I’m on the UK team. Does that matter? I guess not – we can still enjoy a drink together in the Olympic village
